Mrs. M. J. Everett [sic], 77, of 73 Broad St., Stroudsburg, died at 5 p. m. yesterday at her home. Mrs. Everett had been in failing health for several years, but seriously ill only six months.
Mrs. Everett came to Stroudsburg in 1920 from Hainesville, N. J. She took up residence at 73 Broad St. and has resided there ever since.
She was a member of the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Russell J. Bittenbender, at home; a son, Rolland D. Everett, Morris Plains, N. J.; a sister, Mrs. May Swartout, Newton, N. J.; a grandson, Samuel H. Bittenbender, Stroudsburg and one nephew.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. from Dunkelberger and Westbrook funeral home, Stroudsburg, Rev. Frank H. Blatt will officiate. Interment will be made in Hainesville, N. J. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p. m. Thursday.
